I didn't have high expectations as I have sent several chair cushions back that were made of different kinds of foam, but as soon as I took this out of the box, I could see this was very different because of the honeycomb design. It fit my office chair perfectly with no gaps at the edges or back. Then I sat on it. OMG!! That is exactly what I have been looking for. It is actually very cushioning and comfortable and it bounces back into it's original shape as soon as you shift your weight or stand up! Not like memory foam that compresses to almost flat and then takes time to bounce back to original shape. It also comes with 2 covers. 1 black cover and 1 grey cover, so you can switch it up or have a spare for when you need to wash your favorite. One side of the cover is ventilated for sitting on, and the other side has non-slip stickey dots for sticking to your chair. I have only had it for 24 hours at this point, but I am very hopeful that it maintains its cushioning properties over time.

Good size to sit on for an average person. It's heavy though, so wouldn't want to carry it around. It's great to just leave in a chair though. I find it helps with comfort and cushion.

I needed a cushion to drive my car in comfort as I suffer from Lichen Sclerosis. This cushion felt hard at first but after sitting on it a couple of times, it softened to a very comfortable sitting.

This is a top quality extra-large seat cushion with the best materials and construction but was only half the necessary thickness. Fortunately since the price was reasonable enough that I simply ordered another. The ideal thickness would be two sizes 3 inches and 4 inches thick. A slight thinning towards the back would be ideal. Producing arm rests and foot rests padding would complete the package unless some may need specialized back rest paddings and head and neck support paddings again having medium to maximum padding thickness will still be best. I bought a sofa that hurts to sit on for too long. This fixes the issue completely, and makes my hardwood chair comfortable enough to meditate on for a half hour (at 170 lbs)

Item was returned due to the fact that there was pain shooting down the leg due to fractures in the vertebra and very uncomfortable to sit on for long periods of time... Item was returned.
