I needed some good wire to add a couple of speakers to my system. I am not, by any stretch of the imagination, an expert on cables, but I believe this one is excellent quality. I noticed that it is listed as “UL CL2 rated.” I did not know what that meant, so I looked it up online. “CL2 stands for Class 2 Remote Control. It’s a flame-retartant rating that means the cable’s material won’t burn during a sudden electricity surge up to 150 watts and the cable itself will not carry a flame.” This assures me that this wire is safe to use anywhere, including inside of a wall.I believe this GearIT speaker wire was made very well with high quality materials. It is better than the wire I have used in the past to connect speakers. I expect that this will last for quite some time without issue. I certainly do recommend it to others.
