Bought it because the price was right, should’ve thought that inexpensive also meant cheaply made. The plastic used for the strap to hang it snap within the first week. I should’ve realized right away when it was extremely hard to rotate on or off.

Great quality overall… Easy too install however it did not fit my truck. I must order another one unfortunately, however the quality of this gas cap itself is great! Only issue is it didn’t fit my 2001 Dodge Ram

This replacement gas cap worked extremely well. It is an exact fit for my Jaquar. it was a great match for the one that I lost. It looks like the original. It seals perfectly. My engine light has not come back on since it has been installed.

Check engine light, trac light and one other all red. Had previously replaced up and down stream sensors. Pulled codes for evac or 0440. Gas cap was original 2001 and was failing. Replaced for 8 bucks. All red lights off, no more codes. Not this time Mr Mechanic. DIYers, try the gas cap first before replacing sensors.
