Received this yesterday, so can’t speak to the durability, but wishing I had bought I sooner as I lost my Garmin e collar remote due to a flimsy lanyard clip. The clip and carabiner are smaller than they look in the pictures on the listing, which is a good thing. Would definitely recommend.

Great Garmin product. Not sure why it didn’t come with the new GPS I bought as there wasn’t any kind of clip at all.

Ordered this for my etrex 22x, it's definitely a solid piece, I replaced the garmin carabiner right away as I had an industrial carabiner sitting around, I only gave it 4 stars because I haven't tested it yet, I wish it was reversed so the gps pointed at you when you look at it instead of having to flip the unit, also haven't tried to replace the batteries yet. But I would recommend it for sure.

Really find this quite useful. Removes from GPS in a hurry if needed and the carabiner seems to be of good quality.Do feel like it is overpriced for what you get though.

The clip works fine on my Garmin 64sx. Slides easily on the back of the unit and snaps into place. Some complained that it was hard to remove. I don't find this to be the case. You just lift up slightly on the bottom of the clip and then pull down. The carabiner clip seems pretty robust. I use it to clip to my belt loop when walking. Have not used it yet on my backpack, but don't foresee a problem. While it also has a plastic clip that you can use, I find these tend to break rather easily.My only complain is the price. It should be about half the price for what you get. Better yet should come with the GPS. Garmin is not that customer friendly as they charge extra for a useable map for your GPS, so it is no surprise that the clip is over priced.
