This is by far the best flash cart on the market for the SNES, this cart will allow you to play almost every SNES game ever made. The only ones it can't play are a few Japanese exclusives. This will also allow you to play English patched games like Fire Emblem which never released during the Super Nintendo era and ROM hacks made by fans. The cart also has MSU-1 compatibility which allows you to play SNES games with CD audio quality. The cart is very expensive but if you were to go out and buy 5 SNES games like Mega Man X3, Chrono Trigger, Super Metroid, Final Fantasy III and Earthbound that will add up to being around $1000 dollars on eBay which is an insane price for 5 games. So in the long run you're actually saving money by purchasing this Everdrive since it will allow you to play all your favourite SNES classics.

I own two of these and use them a Super Nintendo (3 chip) and a Super Famicom (1 chip). I also tried it in a Hyperkin RetroN 2 HD and it worked there too!The cheat support is a little wonky (relies on text files) and enabling save states can mess up some games (Final Fantasy 4 [JP]/Final Fantasy 2 [US]), but overall the experience is fantastic. This lets me play my games while keeping my official cartridges on the shelf, saving wear and tear on the contacts for carts and consoles.Pricey but worth it. Highly recommended, 5 stars!

Works perfectly on my original SNES console as well as my Analogue Super NT. Firmware is upgraded via the same Micro SD card which stores your ROM files, and it has extra useful USB features for debugging, homebrew development, and expanded functionality when connecting to a PC via the micro USB port. One example of this is multiworld and autotracking functionality for randomizers. With the latest firmware, the FXPAK PRO (formerly known as the SD2SNES) supports almost all known expansion chips for the SNES, including Super FX (Star Fox, Yoshi's Island), Cx4 (Mega Man X2 and X3), and SA1 (Kirby's Super Star, Super Mario RPG). No other SNES flash cart on the market today has this feature. For the first time in history, Yoshi's Island romhacks that were made years ago only for emulators are playable on original hardware. This also allows playing things such as randomizers on original hardware for games such as Super Mario RPG which were only playable via emulation before. It is an investment but one that is well worth it when you consider that some of the games supported via these expansion chips such as Mega Man X3 cost almost as much as this cart alone. This is hands down the best SNES flash cart on the market today, and well worth the cost.
