I got this to splice together a wire run along our outside fence, as the wire was not long enough to terminate where it was going... Does a very nice job of holding the wires firmly, and an excellent job of keeping out any water from migrating inside.. I would buy another one if the time comes I need something like this again.

Material and quality is good. But setup is bit difficult and didn’t come with any papers or instructions. To keep wires hold in screws is tough.

not fully 'weather' tested yet, but this unit seems to be constructed of quality materials, making it sturdy and seemingly secure. installation is pretty straight forward with the cable entry being water tight. The only downside i have, and not a big issue, is the the location of the attachment points. I think theyre slightly too close to the box to obtain any real purchase on the screw head. That said i would not recommend using a power tool to secure said screws as over tightening could lead to compromising the water resistance of the unit. overall i'd recommend this and shall certainly purchase more when the need arises.

My friend cut his irrigation system wire while using a shovel on the edge of a flower bed.I used the j-box without the terminal block and just spliced the seven-conductor irrigation wires.The new wire and old wire were different sizes. The adjustable wire connectors can in handy.Does a perfect job for splicing / junction box where there is a potential of rain or water. In my case: underground where watering will take place. Good little kit. I would buy it again.

I love this line of boxes. I wish they had ones made that are the size for 4 cables or more and no holes so I can drill or punch out what I need.

Very nice small IP66 junction box to use in damp environment. Especially handy when wire runs are complicated and all you need to do is replace device at end of wire run. I replaced the top supplied screws with SS screws. Hard to find a small IP 66 junction box

Easy to use and works great. Only issue is the water tight connections are perfectly round and some spots felt the Romex wasn't fully isolated on its own with just the case. I put some silicone in just to be sure.
