this handle is super sturdy, it looks great and has the classy feel of the good old days... when a handle could handle anything... my omission was that this was goin on a round drum case... but with no problem I was able to bend it just a little bit to compensate the curve ... I was able in Covid-speak to curve the flatten!!! its a great price for a handle that will out last me probably. 😁

Good choice to use as a retrofit on tenor sax hard case for other heavier musical instrument cases. The little included mounts were useless for me as the spacing differed on the case. The measurement on the listing is fine so find a way to remove the pivot pins on your case and reuse them to attach this handle. Carefully trim the flash plastic left from the molding so you don't tear at your skin when carrying. I wish they sold a brown one instead of black but two of these worked for me.

Durable handle, but it does not come with hardware. I would have given it 4 stars due to that, but it does say in the description no hardware, so you have the option of buying it or not. Also, you might need a different type of hardware depending on the application for which you are using it. I used it for a large cat carrier. Worked great, very sturdy. I did put a couple of small brackets inside the carrier to re-enforce the strength. That was only because it was going to be used to ship a cat on an airplane in the cargo hold.

Looking for a handle to refurbish the wooden case of my vintage sewing machine (Singer Featherweight) this was one of the few I came across. It is sturdy and looks good on the case. I’m glad I got it and I’m equally glad it didn’t come with any mounting accessories. I followed the recommendation of another reviewer and used #8-32 stainless steel pan head machine screws a s lock nuts with nylon threads. It worked a treat.

Does not come with screws, but I already read that in the reviews, so no subtracting points for that. I used some thick screws I had here, and just drilled them right in. Works well, and daughter is super-happy that she can carry her violin horizontal instead of vertical now. I was fretting thinking I would need to purchase a brand new case for her, but this fixed the broken handle.
