My planted tank inhabitants love this pellets. My cichlids spawn regularly and my tetras are all happy with great colors. I tried other pellets and they don't eat it. i will continue feeding this to my freshwater fish.

AMAZING STUFF perfect size for medium to large angelfish and apistogrammas. usually my angels and especially my apistos are very picky when introducing new food, but with this food they did not hesitate to eat every last crumb i offered. this stuff is not at all messy like flake and other food.also my angel started breading since i used bug bites, not sure if its related to the food, but i don't see why a high protein bug food would not help the process.

My cichlids love this. I'd give it the fifth star if it didn't sink almost immediately, but the fish know when the light comes on that food is coming, so a pinch at a time solves that problem. Most of it never has a chance to sink because the fish are all over it! Bonus: my dog apparently loves this too. He managed to get the can down from the aquarium stand (how I will never know) and even pulled it out of the recycling bin after I pitched the empty container. I have to assume my fish would do the same. Great protein source for whichever animal manages to get some of it!
