Bought these for my Jeep as I installed an aftermarket bumper and wanted the more aggressive or off road look with a little bit of flair with the red, I have not personally used them hard enough to comment on the actual intended use of the product ( by towing or recovering something) But I have worked and used shackles or d-rings enough in work that I have no doubt these would last just as good as the more expensive stuff.The rubber pieces are a nice touch to limit the amount of noise well going down the road or through the trails.I live where they salt the roads like no tomorrow as so far the finish has held up well so far...

Great Product, fast delivery, reasonable price. 1.25" opening to fit almost any vehicle tow hook or towing bar. Like the added washers to reduce abrasion. Appears to be well finished and coated. Has to use first weekend to pull out 1T Chev 4x4, made the process simple to connect to my F350 tow hook.

I recently installed a steel bumper and winch on my Jeep. I was looking for shackles to add to it. In my search, I came across these. I thought the red would add a bit of pop to the front, which they did. They're solid and well-built. I'm very happy I went with them.

I'd give 5 stars instead of 4, but they're red. I didn't actually want red. I'd have preferred yellow or black, but they were only available in red. I mean... if you specifically want red, then add a star to the rating because THESE ARE FOR YOU!!!So why did I buy red ones? Honestly... I just needed 2 more shackles in my kit and these were the best price I could find from what seemed like a reputable brand. I can find plenty of no-name generic ones for cheaper but I'm not willing to bet my life on them. I can find other bigger brands for more expensive, but that seemed unnecessary. So I landed on these. But they're red. So... whatever. I now have red shackles.

These D-Ring Shackles look great! The Black Hard rubber isolators fit perfectly and tight. With those and the washers, these shackles not only look great, but they don't bang around making noise while I'm off-roading!These shackles also cost the same as the crappy cheap feeling, plain silver shackles that make a ton of noise! So these are a great value!
