The product arrived in a very nice package. The connectors were well constructed and did not feel flimsy at all. Its magnetic lock is quite strong and your phone will not fall off. Charge time for my new iPhone 15 pro max is quick and I am very satisfied.Will purchase another ESR product again if the quality holds up.

Its faster than my apple charger. It keeps the device cool. ESR has very good customer service. Its a great desk accessory. I have two. One for my desk and one for my car.

Very strong magnet, cable seems tough enough to last a long time. Yes it gets hot, but they all do, its normal. The only thing I don't like is the speed. Even when using a 100W charge block its slow compared to my 100w magnetic cable. I guess its just magsafe limitations. Test on my Samsung S23U and Iphone 13 Pro Max. same results on both.

I bought this one because I've bought other products from ESR before and they did not disappoint.My first purchase seemed to be faulty. The charging status goes on and off constantly. I usually use slow charge and bought these for emergency use so I don't use them often enough to realize they don't work well until past the amazon return date. So I went on their website to report this under warranty issue. Within a day, I was offered a full refund and replacement. I was skeptical at first but am genuinely surprised by how fast they processed the refund and shipped the replacement because I received them a couple days later. I immediately tried out the products and confimed that they do charge as intended. So a big thanks to ESR customer service!

Put the phone to charge overnight in this, and by the morning when I picked it up to turn off the alarm, the charger was so hot that it hurt and I dropped the phone from the surprise pain.On the good side, the magnet is strong enough that the charger remained stuck to the phone after the fall, and the phone itself was at an normal temperature.I will not be using this again as I think it was hot enough to be dangerous.

I own an official Apple MagSafe charger for comparison. The HaloLock Chargers are less than half the price and still seem significantly higher quality. The cable on the HaloLock Charger is braided and significantly longer, the magnet is significantly stronger, and the casings to protect the ends of the cord from bending to prevent premature shorts are a nice addition. The puck also has an aluminum shell so it doesn't feel like a cheap product at all. The only possible flaw I could find was that the puck seems to get warmer than on other MagSafe chargers, but so far it hasn't been enough to make me concerned at all. I expect these to last a long time, and will continue to buy ESR over Apple for accessories. I have yet to be disappointed

This won’t work in newer cars if you are purchasing for that reason. If for in your home it works perfectly. I purchased 2 and neither work in my 2 year old car.
