250XDPros:Large enough fishing area to fit 2 large men and fishing gear comfortably (fish finders, minnow bucket, heater, small table). 3 can be comfortable with not as much gear.Lots of windows and velcro to keep the flaps out of the way. Windows are low enough to see your tip-up from a seated position.Full size door to the ice - what a handy feature - no more tripping over fabric walking in and out. Can pull your gear directly inside the tent on the sled on inclement weather days.Insulated, and grey interior for extra brightness.Mesh storage compartment for hat and gloves.Quality/value - heavy duty zippers that easily open and close; heavy duty fabric; high quality cinch bag for transport and storage.Cons:Is a bit heavy, but still manageable by 1 person.Fabric loops attached to ceiling could be a handy add-on feature to hang stuff from (its a bit annoying to use the ceiling poles).

We haven’t actually used this yet because it arrived in early October. We ordered it because last March we went ice fishing with friends and there were four tents, two being this model and we loved it.It is a great size lots of room for chairs, tackle, and multiple fishing holes. Easy to set up or move, easy to get in or out of, and very warm inside without condensation causing ice build up, which happened in one of the other tents.

there was a problem with the sleeves to the door so I spoke to aEskimo representative and after a couple of emails and videos they will replaced the unit I would recommend A++ customer service I would give it five stars but I found it a little bit heavy to maneuver for one person. You definitely need 2 people it would help . but other than that great product I would recommend.A++ and they stand behind their products in that aspect, I would give them five stars for customer service definitely

Set up tent in the house as soon as I received it. Everything looked good but I noticed the “Eskimo” logo on one of the inside storage pouches was sewn on upside down. Returned the tent to get another. $950 is too much to spend for that staring at me all the time.

This is the best investment I’d made in a long time, light weight, strong, so easy to put up and tear down 10 mins and your inside warm and dry, very little heat to be comfortable, the Eskimo holds the heat and is durable! Wouldn’t fish without it now!👍👍

This is a nice shelter sets up fast and seems really well made. I don't use it for ice fishing but for a winter camping shelter. I like the full size door and the windows are nice to. I put my wood burning stove in it and has enough room for two cots and I am able to stand up in it couldn't be happier with it.

Here’s a rewritten version of your review:---This is one of the best overlanding purchases I’ve ever made. Setting up the shelter took me about 10 minutes, and tearing it down was just as quick. By far, this is the easiest and fastest tent I’ve ever owned in terms of setup and takedown. On my first trip, the shelter truly proved its worth—it kept me completely dry during two nights of rain, retained heat exceptionally well with a propane Buddy Heater (even when temperatures dropped into 20/30s), and held up impressively against a windstorm on the second night. I was genuinely worried during the storm, but by 5:00 AM, when the wind died down, the shelter was still standing strong without any damage.I also loved how spacious it is and how convenient the full-size door makes entering and exiting. The only downside is the weight and bulk when folded up, but considering everything it offers, it’s a fair trade-off.I highly recommend this shelter to anyone looking for a comfortable, roomy, warm, and vehicle-transportable option for overlanding or camping. It’s a fantastic investment!

Husband ordered this for the hard water fishing season, and although our ice wasnt that great this year he was able to take it out a couple times! Both in calm days and once in windy conditions. It was a breeze setting up and taking down in both weather settings, didnt blow around or get too cold inside on the cold and windy days plenty of room for multiple people but for an all day fishing trip fit perfect with 2 people to have their own holes and their own space. Next year plans to take the kids out in it, this year the ice wasn't so great so he skipped taking them out for safety reasons.

Pops up easily. Gave up on putting it in the bag at the end. It comes with a strap to cinch it tight. I tow it behind my snowmobile in a covered sled anyway. The shack seems well made. I use a 9000 btu buddy heater and it got plenty warm when it was -20 wind chill. Roomy in there with grey interior and nets to keep your mittens. Having an actual door is the best thing I believe. This is my first ice shack. I have always just been in the elements. Luxury.
