The barrel is a nice quality, thick and sturdy. Unfortunately mine arrived crushed, though it must have taken several hundred pounds of pressure to crush it. I tried kneeling on it pop it back into place and its so strong it didnt want to budge. I imagine it took a forklift to crush it so badly. Definitely a testamemt to the quality of the barrel if you get one in good condition!

I bought this in hopes of having water in my shop to fill the humidifier. I added a water valve at the bottom and it works.The first time I filled it, put the lid on and moved it with a 2 wheel dolly it leaked out of the top. I was concerned about that when I saw the plastic ring for securing the lid. It feels cheap and doesn’t feel like it’s tight.However, the second time I filled it up I pressed and tapped the lid down and then tightened it and it did not leak.The third time I filled it I repeated the pressing and tapping and it barely dripped water.So, I’m probably using it in a way it wasn’t intended for and if they upgraded the lid ring that holds it in place, it would be more expensive and I probably wouldn’t have bought it.So, it works for my purpose.

How to spray down an area for cleanup. This used as a mixing tank for the solution. Three days later, located and oil tank that was disconnected and framed away from sight. At the time there were not enough 5 gallon buckets. This guy was a champ. Drained out the oil flushed it out and then moved the tank out in sections. This went onto a handtruck well. Allowing a bit more ease in the project.
