We used this product for lining up the bolts on boat transom to existing holes. It was easy to use and saved us a lot of headaches. I recommend it.

The centre throat does not cradle the shaft of the drill bit snug enough so I still get 'some walking' when trying to drill into quartz or granite.

If you know how to use hand tools this can be handy to speed up drilling many holes that need to be square to the surface. It has limited sized bushings so I would suggest selecting the next smaller and redrilling with the correct size using the hole as a pilot. You will also need longer than standard drill bits for holes of any depth.

The metal part on top wore down quickly. After about 50 counter sinks, it was about 3/32" deeper from the metal wearing off. Also the metric sizes don't match up well to the forstner bits available in the USA, so there can be some wobble.
