It's good rope for the price. I needed something durable, weatherproof and reasonably comfortable to hold for a bell pull.It's not a normal application for a mooring rope, but its perfect as hit has a loop on the end for the bell ringer to use.All that said, having spent a good amount of time on boats, this does seem like it would be excellent quality dock line. My only negative comment is that I like white or light colored rope so I can see them better in the water, bad weather, in the dark, etc. This looks great, but wouldn't be as visible.

The navy colored rope is great and we can't wait to use it on the boat. The quality of the rope is as described and was a great value for the money. We needed a longer size and this checked off all the boxes. I highly recommend this product.
