Reading others, I had concerns about the outer seal fitting. Both fit as they should. Yes, getting the boot around the piston is an absolute pain. I set the boot in the caliper groove, run a thin string around the piston and slip the boot over so the loop is inside and the ends outside. Lube the piston, push piston against caliper, hold one end of string and pull the other around the piston leading the seal onto it (use your thumb to hold it in place as you move), then pop the piston into the caliper. Takes a bit of practice but has worked for me for decades and definitely cheaper than replacing the whole caliper.

Outer seal did not fit had to reuse the original. Inner seal was perfect

I ordered for a 2016 Jeep Wrangler and discovered the inner seal fits good with no problem . I had to reuse the outer dust covers because the new one from the kit is too wide to fit in the groove of the caliper . I am sure for a different application it would possibly fit. I was lucky that the old outer covers where in good condition so i just used the inner seals from the kit. I would not order again if i owned a Jeep Wrangler .

As another reviewer stated, the main o-ring fits the groove just fine, but the dust seal is absolutely wrong.Purchase this kit instead: Carlson 41224 Disc Brake Caliper Repair KitThe Carlson kit above fits perfectly with zero hassles. You may have to locate it elsewhere, I couldn't find it on Amazon.BTW, use the blow gun trick mentioned by another reviewer, that was a life saver to get the dust seal over the piston without tearing it.

Nice to fix Cals without having to replace . Save money but you must grease the Pistons and square cut seal with red rubber grease or they will freeze up again .
