This kit is quality replacement for the seals and retaining clip. It fit perfectly on my Celica front caliper. The clip was a little difficult getting in. I advise making the seal fit perfectly in the slot and putting the rear of the clip in towards the top of the caliper and pushing it gently down into the front. I used a small non sharp flat head to further press it in place without damaging the seal. Make sure you rub a little brake fluid on the inner seal before pressing the piston in, it makes it much easier.

I've replace one caliper on this vehicle before, this time I thought I'd try "rebuilding" vs replacing. So far the rebuilt caliper seems excellent. The front left caliper (original) was not fully releasing (it was dirty, despite what I thought was frequent brake fluid changes). After removing the caliper and piston, I cleaned everything well. There was no corrosion/pitting on the cylinder or piston walls, but there was some in the groove for the dust seal, and just a little in the groove for the square (oil) seal.I could not press the piston (lubed with brake fluid) back into the cylinder by hand (most youtube videos seem to indicate this should be possible). I wonder if this was because of some minimal corrosion, that I couldn't adequately remove from the groove for the oil seal, making the new seal just a bit tighter. So I just pressed the piston in with a C-clamp. After that everything went well. With the rebuilt caliper on the car, I could actually see the slight "return" of the piston when the brake pedal was released. The caliper now operates well, no more "dragging" when I've released the brake pedal. And after a couple of drives I've verified the rotor temperatures with an infrared temperature gun - both sides at the same temp, a nice "cool" 144F.I would also note that the metal ring which keeps the dust boot in the caliper was slightly shorter than the original, see 2nd photo. I'm glad this was done by Dorman, as there was certainly some corrosion in the groove for the seal which I just could get out - which would make the inner diameter smaller and a wire ring of the same size would not fit. There was quite a bit of time spent cleaning up the caliper. So I can see where some people might not feel rebuilding it is worth the time. Still, I'm glad I did the rebuild, it was lots cheaper and I got to keep my original Toyota caliper.

Bought this for a Corolla caliper. The gasket seal is pretty tight and even with plenty of lube. Needed to press in the piston with a retracting tool. Still not 100 % thought it would work itself in over time
very good application.deserves five stars.

Although I was unable to use it I was very surprised by the quality and marksmanship of this brake kit.
