Maintenance Guide
For optimal pet health, it's strongly advised to up the ante on water changes and fountain maintenance, aiming for a weekly routine. Ensure the filter is swapped out every seven days, especially if you have multiple pets or if your furry friends tend to make a splash with their hydration habits. Adjusting the filter change frequency based on your specific pet dynamics is key to keeping their water fresh and clean.
Cleaning the Pump
Step 1: Take out and wash the pump sponge thoroughly.
Step 2: Uncover the pump.
Step 3: Using your fingernail, detach the impeller cap.
Step 4: Use tweezers to extract the impeller and scrub it with a brush.
Step 5: Employ the brush to clean any leftover residue in the pump.

I have 4 dogs and 6 cats which love it. It comes with 2 different water options, one which has water falling from 4 sides, the other has 2 water falls, or you don't have to use either and have a "gurlging" water fountain. All mine prefer the 2 water fall option. It holds over 9 litres of water, so I'm not constantly having to fill multiple times a day. It's easy to clean and refill. Don't forget to purchase extra filters.

I have bought many pet fountain and this is the best one (so far). Silent, big enough for 2 dogs and two cats, cleaning supplies, a little light, good water debit. It also not too pricey. Easy to clean, and install.

There is no where for the cord to come out, only squat it in the cover. There is no marking on the bottom of where to line up the pump. And the way the pump goes in and cord goes in the light is pointing towards the back and then you can’t see it. Or you point the light towards the front and the cord hanging out the front too. Not a good design but really big which is good! Especially for two dogs!

My dog was getting a rash on her nose and chin and research suggested it could be from drinking water from a shared bowl. I initially bought this for her (she's a bit of a princess) but all our dogs almost immediately preferred drinking from the fountain and her rash cleared up within a day or two of switching.Usage: We have large dogs who drool into their water bowls so I bought this to ensure the water would get filtered regularly and it's worth every penny. The water stays cleaner and cooler and having it flow into a shallow dish at the top makes less of a mess too! It does make a low humming sound but that's to be expected from any water fountain.Assembly/Maintenance: Assembly is easy and straightforward with two different fountain spouts to choose from or you can leave it to bubble from the centre of the dish. The pump automatically stops if the water is too low but it also has a light that indicates low levels. Refilling the water is easy and I give the entire fountain a good scrub every week or so. If you have more than one dog, you obviously need to change the filters a little more frequently but I find they're reasonably priced and totally worth it.

I like that it hold a lot of water but you have to have some kind of mat under it because it does spills over. My dog and cats do like so far which is a plus.

I like that it is much bigger than my last water jug that the dogs were drinking from but it leaks a lot all over the floor and this is not with them drinking from it. I'm not sure why. I do find it's also very slimy and needs cleaning often. But definitely don't like it being wet on the floor all the time as it's wrecking my floor.🙁
