When the battery is installed, the vibration switch S1 is disconnected, so the circuit does not work. When the gyro is rotated, due to the centrifugal force, the vibration switch S1 is turned on, and the circuit works.
The working principle of the multivibrator circuit is that when the power is turned on, the two transistors Q1 and Q2 will compete to be turned on first, but due to the difference of components, only one of the transistors will be turned on first.
Then the two triodes in the circuit will take turns and cut off, and the two light-emitting diodes will continue to circulate and emit light.
When the top is rotated, the bright LED will appear a straight line effect. Since the lights are staggered and every two lights are alternately lit, there will be multiple dotted patterns.

There are no assembly instructions. Parts are bent. They just cut a couple of batteries off of a multi pack and threw them in the bag. Not worth the money. I doubt it will work.

Only works if I short the terminals of the switch. I even spun it up in a drill to try and test the switch. Includes 4 different colour LEDs but no indication of what colour they are or if they need to be put in specific places. The flashing function doesn't appear to work either so, Im assuming at least one other component is no good as well. I replaced the switch with a piece of wire and all LEDs light so, I guess there's that.

Overall, this is a great way to get into DIY soldering. I was looking for something simple that I wasn't afraid to mess up before I tried to solder on an Xbox controller and this gave me the confidence to do that. I was using old broken electronics from work previously, but since they were broken, there was no way of telling if I was doing it right.I gave it 4 stars because there were no instructions on assembly or what the parts were. But it's fairly easy to figure it out otherwiseWhen I was working on mine, I was only able to get two of the LEDs to work

Product works 100% but came with no instructionsonly a small blue paper with 4 tips I purchased this for a class project so I had my professor guide me in some parts overall not satisfiedI wish it actually came with and instruction sheet on how to put parts together !
