In use for 6 months now controlling two fans. The variable speed can turn the speed down to barely spinning, up to full power. When on my exercise bike I start on low setting and can turn up to full speed as needed.

Works great. No issues. Price is fantastic for quality. Can't speak for longevity yet but I'm happy.

This Adjuster brought my 25000 rpm fan down to 20 rpm. The dial is a range dial that can range from anywhere from Zero RPM to Full RPM. Exactly what i needed. Hoping it lasts more than a few months. Seems to be good quality.

Garbage. Used this controller for the first time 2 weeks ago with a small inline duct fan. Started malfunctioning within a few hours, unit became very hot to the touch and the fan suddenly went to top speed even though the controller showed medium. Adjusting the switch did nothing. I shut it off until cool, fired it back up again and it did the same thing.

I used this governor to control a duct inline fan. The OFF position is under High instead of Low as you might expect. So you have to turn the fan up past high to turn it off. Not intuitive.Turning it down from High to Medium slows the fan as expected, but somewhere between Medium and Low the fan stops turning. This will likely vary by the resistive load produced by different sizes of duct fans. I'm using this one on a typical 6" diameter round duct.So I suggest that you observe the effect on the fan before you install the fan in the ductwork as you might be turning the fan off on a low setting without realizing it. If you are installing it after the fan is in your ductwork, don't assume your fan is turning at a Medium to Low range setting.

Only thing to note is that for a 6" duct fan, the usable scale is about 10% of the full scale. If you turn it too much, it just make the fan motor buzz without turning. Also I did remove cover to see if the electronic board can be adjusted, but no it cannot. Otherwise, work fine and has a nice knob feel!

Works well for my heater fan. Note that it starts at the highest level when you turn it on.

Quería un regulador de velocidad para mí extractor y este producto me gustó mucho, fácil de instalar.

I got this because it's hard to get a fan that has an 'infinitely' adjustable speed. I wanted to run a fan pretty slow and the low speeds on the fan was too fast. This thing works perfectly and I have the full range of adjustability. I will most likely buy another at some point for some other fans I have.

Used to control a 12 in exhaust fan in my garage. The fan is a through the wall kitchen exhaust fan which ran too fast. Tried three other controllers including a regular three speed - none worked. This one works perfectly. It causes a bit of a fan hum but not an issue for my application. It's a continuously variable controller which is not apparent from the description, but a plus for me.

I ordered this speed controller to replace one that failed after several years of use. It's literally plug-n-play. The unit has a variable controller knob that adjusts the fan speed. The fan being controlled is a large floor fan that has three speeds, fast, faster and wow, that's fast. This controller tamed the beast as soon as it was plugged in. Excellent so far, hope it lasts a long time.
