This was suggested by my sister to get as a gift for my dad. I was skeptical that it would work as advertised with out a lot of hassle to get people connected and able to send their photos. I am a tech guy and had low expectations.The item arrived and I set it up easily enough. I was able to send pictures with the frameo app over the local wifi network with ease, but was still skeptical of the internet functionality, etc. I provided the access code (good for 12 hours) to my other siblings (5 of us) across the country. Within minutes, I started seeing photos show up on the frame from all of them.I was very impressed and we quickly ordered a second one for my wife's parents.Both units have been set up in my house for a couple of weeks while we allow everyone to preload them with pictures so they are ready to go on Xmas morning. They have been running flawlessly and I am enjoying watching the pictures update as people add to them over time. It is interesting how much enjoyment you get when suddenly a good new picture shows up in the rotation. I know the receivers are going to love it.I like the app functionality of being able to send a picture to multiple devices; this makes it east to quickly update multiple frames in one go.I am going to be sorry to see these go and I am probably going to order another 1 (or maybe 2) for our own use if the price goes down after Xmas or if a good deal comes along.I paid around $150 each for them and even at that price, I think they are a good deal for size and ease of use.For those that are curious, the system itself is a customized android system so if you are used to playing with settings in Android, the interface for configuration will be familiar.I suggest turning off the fit to frame function. (it can cut off parts of the picture if the picture orientation is different from how you have the frame orientated)That issue can't be helped; if you have pictures of different orientations on the frame, you will have to decide which way to place it, or maybe change the orientation of the frame occasionally to get the most variety. The stand is easily converted between orientations and detects it's orientation without needing to access the settings.When the frame adjusts the picture to fit fully, it uses a blurred out portion of the picture in the background to prevent just having black bars on the sides or top/bottom; I like that feature, it adds warmth to the display instead of stark contrast.Way better product than I was expecting overall.

Just set it up, has been running only 30 minutes. I put on a bunch of 1080p video clips that are working beautifully. One issue I should point out: The micro SD port is super awkward to reach. The first time I put a card in, I couldn't get it to "click" into place. I applied pressure to it with a butter knife, and then it flew out. I retrieved it and thought I got it back in. Then, when I went to transfer files from the SD card, it says nothing inserted. So, I look again, and it is in their all goofy. I try pushing it in all the way, and it ends up sliding down somehow into the device. So that card is now lost forever **Edit - I managed to use a very tiny, thin electronics screwdriver to pry the frame off and retrieve my SD card, and it all snapped back together easily**. I managed to find a different card and it went in nicely, but I still had to use a butter knife to click it into place. So be very careful when inserting the card if you're using one! I checked out some of the negative reviews and several people say it stops working after 5 months so i will be sure to update my review if that is the case but so far I'm fairly happy with it. Touchscreen and OS as well as the app you can use to transfer photos and videos from your phone seem decently reliable so far. It even as a speaker to play audio from your videos.**Edit after a week of use** - Additional notes: It uses a version of the Android OS which gives it a nice user friendly experience and a decent amount of settings to adjust. However, since the OS is installed, the actual storage space is more like 12gb than 16gb. I have loaded about 15 short clips in 1080p and 720p and it is working great to play those - definitely recommend this unit for anyone looking to play video specifically!

Only takes mini SD cards, can not connect a computer or phone to upload photos. If you don't have wifi (i dont as this was for work display) or a mini SD card(I haven't tried this method yet) this will not work at all. It's a paperwait until I get a mini SD card and try again.

El marco se conecta muy fácil y se vincula con el celular para poner las fotos que uno quiera poner. Es fácil de usar y tiene buena resolución (claro que esto depende también de la calidad de la fotografía) pero es muy buena compra y cuando lo adquirí tenía descuento.

I got this for my daughter’s new flat and she loves it. The picture quality is outstanding and the ease of use with the use of the Frameo app to send pix directly from your phone/tablet/computer is soooo easy AND Frameo doesn’t want to know details about your private life before use!!I would highly recommend this frame for it’s quality and it’s ease of use - oh, and did I mention, you can store 1000s of photos in the frame’s internal memory as well as use SD cards/USB memory sticks. I purchased this as a gift for my mother who lives an hour an a half away. The frame won’t stay connected to wifi so we can’t drop pictures on it which defeats the purpose of why I bought it. I reset everything for her and then the next morning she calls and says it was frozen on one picture. She tried to turn it off with the rear button but it wouldn’t do anything. This should have been a set it up and set it on the table and watch the pictures. It’s turned into we can’t deliver photos to it and now it’s stuck on just one picture. Don’t buy it!
