After setting the current time and adjusting pins, it stayed on the right time/schedule for a few hours then seemed to either stop moving forward or would jump ahead to the wrong time (aka does not remain on schedule). Tried resetting a few times but it kept happening.

Mécanique qui fonctionne bien. Dommage qu'on doit réajuster l'heure à chaque fois qu'il manque d'électricité, il devrait y avoir la possibilité d'y insérer une pile pour compenser les manques d'électricité.

I use one of these timers for an outdoor ambient patio lighting string, year round, and the other is used seasonally for holiday lighting. Both timers have worked well and reliably.

I use this as a light timer and also for USB charging my electronic devices (avoiding overcharging). Works great. It's easy to use. It's inexpensive.

I am an engineer so maybe I am too picky when it comes to design. These were low cost so if they last two seasons as others suggest I should not complain but some features make NO sense to me. First the round yellow rotating cover through which you insert the electrical plug of your lights (or appliance) seem useless to me. Why would you need it? There is only the ONE outlet so if nothing is plugged in why would you leave the unit exposed to the elements and NEED the cover? It serves no purpose and complicates (slightly) insertion of the plug. My other complaint is the ridge (shown in the photo below) that prevents plugging in anything larger than a single small power plug. At first I thought its purpose might be a drip edge but it doesn't go all the way around so it too apparently serves no purpose and is an obstacle if you need to plug in more that a single outlet. But again the cost is low!
