Began using it right out of the box. Easy to assemble. Smooth operation, very fine cuts. Easy to insert/change blades. Much nicer finish than my bandsaw could ever give me..

Flexible arm allows you to place light where you need it. Just bright enough. Power switch well made not cheaply manufactured.

I will try to make this straight to the point.Pros:I really like the fact that it is adjustable you can move it close or far to get rid of the light shadow.Used by professionalsLights up your working area easy to follow the lines for a proper cutCons:Not easy to mount the light bulb that is why I am taking 1 star away from them.In my opinion,Changing a light bulb is not an everyday job and it is doable just not as easy as it should be. I think it is still worth to have one of these if you own a Dewalt scroll saw.

when i recieved this item the box was intact but the light bulb was unfortunalety not. Dewalt customer service didnt reply to my email but a replacement arrived by courier today. Thanks Dewalt.

This super light easy to install (ask my husband to install oil) woalllahhh ... its light up your work area 😍😍 and yes it cast a shadow but hei just adjust it it's not a big problem . happy customer here 😊

Great light easy to install. It does cast a bit of a shadow as stated in other reviews. But what light doesn’t. Quite happy and a great finishing touch to a great saw.

I purchased the DeWalt Scroll saw after reading many reviews for various saws. Unfortunately, unlike most of the other saws, it does not come with a light. So... I ordered this light since it is made for this particular saw. The saw frame has a predrilled hole to mount the light. It is a very good quality light and works perfectly with the saw. It should at the price.

This was a must as to see what you are cutting. But I did change the light to a 40 watt bulb and I want bright light when I'm working. Someone stated the light that comes with it is too dim (25 watt). So I didn't even try it and purchase a 40 watt LED bulb. It is perfect and see the work piece and easy to follow the lines. You need the light with this unit...that's a must have for sure.

Package arrived undamage and product is as advertised. I have not used the scroll saw and reserve judgement on that. I do expect it will perform flawlessly. I have used this saw before and I like it better than some others. It is well made and can last a lifetime.

For these old eyes, this lamp is super. It focuses light right where I need it. I was using a light clamped onto the scroll saw table; but, I found that with larger projects like puzzles I needed to keep moving the lamp as I rotated the workpiece. This lamp solves that problem because it is mounted to the arm above the table. I read about the bulb being too hot. That hasn't been a problem for me. When it burns out I will get an LED; but, until then it is fine.

This is very sturdy lamp fixture. The only down side is a very dim bulb. I replaced it with a R14 LED light Bulb 3Watt E17 Base 300 lumens bulb and it is exactly what I was hoping for.Highly recommend that you go ahead and order the bulb when you order the work light because you will need it.
