To buy Dewalt in combos is always advantageous. The combined price of the combo is always better than the tools alone. I would love to see combos of some other tools I don't have, but I digress...The multi-tool is that tool you won't use much, however when you do resort to it, it is the only one that can do it well done and easy. A nice addition to anyone's arsenal of tools. This in particular is sturdy, powerful and feature reach. However I think it all boils down to the system you have: I have Dewalt batteries and charges so doesn't make sense to buy another brand oscillating tool unless it lacks a desired feature (which is not the case here).The sander is something I long wanted for small jobs around the house. If I was going to use it repeatedly I would prefer a corded one, but for my sporadic necessities the portability of the battery operated is key. There was one occasion were I borrowed a battery powered sander from my brother and spent more time charging the dead batteries than sanding, hence my observation above.In general they are both great tools and nice additions to my set, I am not a professional who uses these tools on daily basis but I do know about tools over the decades of DIY repairs and creations around the home. I like Dewalt because they never let me down like the cheaper price/low quality brands.Ah, the quick charger is by far the one I most use. The old charger is now almost unused.

I liked the fact that this combo comes with a 5ah battery and fast charger. The multi-tool is super handy, very durable and a great all round tool. The sander works great and is also a handy tool to have. My only complaint is the fast charger is the 8ah DCB118 and not the 12ah DCB1112, little detail but definitely not a deal breaker. Honestly you can't go wrong with DeWalt! The price was good and shipping is always fast with Amazon! Would buy again!

These are a lot more practical and useful than the corded versions I own. Both tools work great, and both tools eat batteries like candy. Good thing I have lots of spares and these come with a fast charger.I am currently doing the finishing work on a medium-sized patio and have not had to go back to my corded tools for anything. I love the variable speed on the oscillating tool, I can modulate its speed by varying the force on the trigger.

Everything is very best I love dewalt tools and these came as advertised. Awesome that it comes with the 5ah battery and fast charger. Only problem I had is the sander does not accept batteries easily, kinda have to force them to dock. Don't know if that's a fluke or a common problem with them but the tools both work very best
