I bought my first pairs of Darn Tough socks a few years ago and after more than 3 years of wearing them I have switched over to them exclusively. They are well made and very comfortable. I no longer wear cotton socks because they were wearing out the heels in my gym shoes. Cotton is very abrasive when it gets wet. I was told I need a Merino Wool blend. I found these and although they are pricey, I think saving my expensive runners and protecting my feet is worth the money.

Excellent sock that is worth the money, if you have $20+ dollars curbing a hole. They COULD be worn for a couple days given wools natural barrier to bacterial growth (eg overland hiking trip)Would be nice if you could buy them in large bulks packs like the cheaper brands (6/set) so that you can get them for less per pair. Personally I wont buy them unless I see them for under 15. I'm all for paying for good quality but $200-250 just to restock socks is ridiculous. Just my two cents.

I love darn tough socks but I found these to be super thin and a bit slippery. I don't feel connected to my shoes and my feet move around a bit. If that's what you're looking for then they are perfect. I think I prefer the "lightweight" over the "Ultra-lightweight" model.

Within 10 seconds of putting them on, these socks mold to your feet, and you literally feel like you are barefoot. Great for summer, and despite the thin material, they seem indestructible- and no odor even after a couple of days of wearing them. My new favorites.

I wore these socks for 2 weeks in my regular rotation to try them out. I will admit I like the fit and breathability of them overall. But on the 4th wear I noticed a hole at the end of my day when I took my sneakers off. Even with a lifetime warranty I'm shocked at how quick these failed. I was expecting at least a year+ out of these socks. The Warranty form is a bit obnoxious and honestly if I go through the process and the second pair gets a hole, I may just say screw it as a lesson learned.

These fit incredibly narrow like cheap tight dress socks. There apparently was a material change of these socks and thus not anywhere near the quality of the previous pairs which were highly recommended. Avoid these socks!!

My boyfriend has received several pairs of this exact same sock from myself and family members as gifts. They are his every day go-to socks, wether he is going to work in the office or doing physical activity. He says they are light, comfy and durable. We don't worry about them wearing out over time thanks to Darn Tough's lifetime warranty. You can see wear when comparing his older pairs to his newer pair but considering how often he wears them, they're holding up well. Very happy with this purchase, especially since he's asked for them over and over again!
