This is, by far, the best portable projector I've bought/tested. I was looking for a tv screen, but instead I found this little folk! It has astonishing picture quality, displaying true Full-HD, with HDR10, regardless the time of the day (even at daylight, but, of course, the darker the room, the better), as well as it supports high fps (I've tested 60fps videos and they do look smooth). I also like the fact that it still supports Active 3D (cause I still have a collection of 3D Blu-ray movies). On the other hand, I like the way it automatically adjusts to the surface/screen you want to project, as well as it runs Google TV natively, then it allows you to install apps like Disney+, Netflix or Amazon Prime Video (they are also factory installed). Lucky me, I purchased this during Black Friday, cause it actually costed me the same as a 65in screen, but with this guy I can project on a wall giving me exactly a 150in (it still can project a larger scale: 180in, but 100in is recommended and enough). The only "con" is that it doesn't support 4K or larger display formats, but you won't really need it, as it natively displays 1920x1080 with great accuracy and with high contrast and it also blends somehow the pixels, so you won't even notice them. You can still watch 4k, but after scalling it to 1920x1080, with the means of a computer using HDMI. Finally it has Bluetooth, which you can use to sync your headphones, which will also reproduce sound with great quality, as well as by the mean of a jack 3.5mm. I used my Bose AE2 headphones connected straight with the jack 3.5 as well as with a Bluetooth receiver and the audio was great both ways (the wired one was of course better). I also tested it with my Sony WC-500, with great sound quality too! The only way I haven't tested it yet is with a home-theater (it supports also eArc through HDMI) but I'm sure it will work great either!

I purchased this projector over a month ago and I am very impressed. The picture is phenomenal for it's size. It's quiet and the Google TV is a nice addition. I had some issues getting the sound from my amplifier it will accept a blue ray input from the player but not from my amplifier.I purchased a analog to digital input converter and ran the audio from the headphone jack on the projector to my amplifier and now it sounds great. I contacted the manufacturer about the 3d mode and glasses. They got back to me quickly and I tried a set of glasses and now I have a 3d laser projector on a 120" screen. The portability and features of this unit are worth looking into.

Projector itself is excellent so far. The built-in Google TV is just okay. It seems like it has a slow processor. I can’t stream live sports on SportsNet because it doesn’t seem to be able to process live video fast enough. It is also occasionally really slow switching between apps. Part of this could be the Bluetooth remote but I’ve had other Bluetooth remotes before and they have had almost no lag. It’s a bit unfortunate as I was hoping to replace multiple remotes and devices but we will probably go back to having a separate streaming stick. Also, it would be much better if it had two HDMI ports so you could use one for eARC and the other as a regular input.

The Atom projector is amazing value for the money. It outperforms considerably higher priced projectors. The brightness and picture quality are outstanding , and the built in android TV make it a breeze to set up and use. Its incredible how good it is in such a small package which can easily be placed anywhere. I had a small issue with mine, but the Dangbei customer service team was extremely responsive and helpful, and helped me resolve the issue in no time. Super happy with my purchase as it provides me hours of entertainment, and very confident in the dangbei customer service team. Bill

I got OLED picture quality for a fraction of a cost of a big OLED TV. Plus this projector is truly portable you can take it with you anywhere. It's a complete game changer. Literally movie theater quality at your pocket. It makes my life way better. Even during a day with lights on the picture quality is awesome. It is just pure joy. Colors are superb. Autofocus works great. Sound is good too, you can watch movies without any external speakers. Overall well deserved honest 5/5. It's my best purchase in the last 10 years.

System can't or won't update to the latest version (currently V.14)When you think you think you're going get Google TV OS and you get an old Android TV OS (bought mid Dec 2024) you feel betrayed.Also will not allow the "cast" function so you have to add an Apple TV box to Airplay instead.

I've had this projector for about four months now in my van conversion. It's well designed, the fan is almost silent, power consumption is low. I recommend going into all the custom settings and turning down the brightness, while also enabling all the eye safety features. Picture quality is great. There is an optional stand for this device which gives this a very slick look.

Llevo usando proyectores desde hace 30+ años y si, cada generacion es mejor como esperarias, pero nunca note un salto tan grande como con el Dangbei Mars.Lo compre para reemplazar un BenQ w1070 con el que estaba muy contento desde hace 10 años. Tenia mis aprensiones ya que no conocia Dangbei de nada, pero la diferencia es noche y dia y por ahora estoy perfectamente contento.Gran calidad de imagen y silencioso.

I've been using the Dangbei Atom Laser Projector for a few weeks now and I'm very impressed. I'm coming from those budget LED projectors and this is my first laser unit. Some pros and cons:Pros:+ Surprisingly small form factor+ Crisp, sharp 1080p image thanks to built-in auto-focus+ Buttons on remote give quick access to focus adjusting settings+ Internal fan isn't too noisy+ Handles color and contrast better than budget projectors+ Picture is quite bright and viewable even in some reasonable ambient light+ Google TV apps and features work perfectly once connected+ Usually has a coupon you can use to lower the priceCons:- Since it's using DLP tech you will see a kind of "rainbow effect" in your vision- Speakers are kind of weak, but no biggie if you've got external audio means- Only one HDMI port- Switching inputs (Home screen to HDMI) seems like it takes too many actionsOverall, this is a fantastic projector and it was a great upgrade

Normal movies are excellent on this at 100 inches. I normally use it on laser power 7 for these. Google tv on it is snappy, runs perfect. Some things like switching to hdmi, require too many presses in the menus. I pack it for my charity work in a small ibm bag for one of their old mini projectors. The bag just holds projector, mini tripod,and psu, and remote.I use the 3D feature for charity work on laser power 9 and the image is bright, with an excellent 3D effect, on 70 inch pull downs in most community rooms, or rec centers. It is slightly dimmer at 100 inches, but still watchable, especially on old 3D films like House of Wax, Creature from the black lagoon, Dial M for murder, etc. The creators of the old 3D films knew to brighten and use proper contrast, because the glasses sap brightness. It takes DLP Dlink active shutter glasses, they are not cheap. The AWOL ones work excellent. You will not realistically sit more than 6 or seven people for optimal 3d viewing.Disney Marvel movies are watchable, but in many scenes were dim, and overly filtered even in 2d on brighter projectors than the atom. They are watchable, but the 3D is dimmer, and the effects are more poorly done than the dedicated to 3D shots of the older movies. But when does Disney ever do things right… no pride in their work, only their parades. Honestly I think they make their 3D movies dark on purpose to price out smaller theaters on the price of a brighter projector. They are not nice people.No battery power, and the in built speaker is clear, but could be louder. It has BT and hdmi arc.The projector is a brick, if you bring it somewhere and forget the remote.Sometimes it hangs on the start screen and you have to do a complete reboot to reset it so you can enter the pin, also if you have no wifi connection you cannot get into the projector if you set a pin. Luckily I have a hotspot on my phone, otherwise backyard movie nights with an hdmi source could not be done. i have no idea, why the pin could not be encrypted and saved locally like everything else does. It is a major pain.Five out of five for the money. You will take it places.

Calidad de imagen, normal no llegar a ser nitida yo devolví el producto por qué el software que lleva es limitado, no es android es linux. Apenas se puedes instalar aplicaciones, sonido normal. Pero el problema más importante es el sistema linux que lleva.No descodifica 4k como indican, en mi caso probé con YouTube o stik de Amazon y calidad mala.
