After reading all the bad reviews I thought this thing would be terrible. I bought it anyway because I thought it didn’t make sense what some of the things people were saying. they were very wrong it has tons of bass it can be loud enough to fill most rooms I don’t understand the bad reviews it has a knob on the back that allows you to adjust how much bass and you can go from but no bass way too much bass. I was just running it off my phone and it was loud enough to bug your neighbours. Sure you might not want to use this to DJ parties but it’s great for home use. It’s mind boggling how someone claimed it had no bass. Maybe they didn’t find the knob or received a broken unit. The tweeters are fine. Nothing special but all the basic frequencies are there. It’s a surprisingly good sounding unit for the price. I have much better stereo gear like a 200watt sub woofer and studio monitors so I know what decent bass sounds like and this has decent bass. I bought this for my office. No it’s not a 200watt sub it’s 18watt so you shouldn’t expect to fill clubs. Maybe a small party would be ok.

There's no subwoofer cut off frequency, so voices and mids all come out of the subwoofer. but there's a high cut off for the little speakers, not the worst sounding thing for a cheap computer setup, only reason returning is left speaker doesn't connect properly in the back and cuts out

You can't expect much from these $40 speakers. If you are mainly a headphone user and just want speakers on the off chance that you're showing someone something, then these are perfect. If you want these for gaming, then look somewhere else and in a higher price range (though if you're a gamer you should be using headphones anyway). These speakers themselves are relatively low in max volume and the sound seems a bit echoey? Distant? Disjoined? I don't really know how to describe it. As for the subwoofer it's alright I suppose, though if you turn up the bass or listen at high volumes the sound will start cracking/breaking. In summary, if you're just looking for speakers that aren't gonna be used frequently then these are aesthetically perfect and functionally decent. If you actually want to enjoy music, then look elsewhere.

I was surprised when I came back to write a review on this system to see the price had almost doubled from the $55 CDN that I paid for it 4 days earlier! At $110 I cannot recommend buying this system at $55 yes. The sound is good but not anything exceptional the volume control is nice to have especially with the bass control. The manufacturing quality of this system is something you would expect of a $40-$50 system so I feel the price increase to $110 is unjustified. Save your money and look at another manufacturer!

I own other Cyber Accoustic computer speakers and they still work perfectly after years of use. I connected this kit to a portable video projector to avoid "bluetooth lag" using a 500cm male-female 3.5mm extension wire. Just perfect for my needs.

Pros:The product got shipped to my place in the matter of 3 days... and that was without paying for fast shipping. That was the most exciting part. As for the product its self, I am a desktop gamer, so having these speakers are pretty good for FPS, as well as listening to my favourite beats while doing my studies... But I realized that if one who is switching from a 2.0 (Basic 2 speakers with built in bass) to a 2.1 (2 speakers and a sub-woofer), you usually notice the crisp new sound, as your ears are not used to it, so it seems fairly new, but you know it isn't the best.I love design of how the dial is the volume control, headphone jack, and the aux port, which makes things a little cleaner looking, not to mention stylish, with a sleek black modern finish.Wires were no issue whatsoever. All of them were long enough with extra length to spare!Cons:Don't blast this little guy, it wasn't built to take huge hits. If you're in your bedroom or your office, it would suffice to keep it at a moderate volume anyways.I enjoy the dial volume control system, but it seems like the blue LED in the middle of the dial seems to have one thats more or less burned out... No big, U can probably replace the LED.Bass boost not as strong as anticipated... Still sounds okay.Overall:I gave it a 4 stars, because it isn't perfect, and the bass boost isn't too strong, but not strong enough. If you're an amateur gamer, or if you've got kids, it will be more than enough. It's not like your a producer who needs professional systems to get perfect treble/Bass... even though they don't have the sound quality of a Bose stereo (which are disgustingly priced), but you get what you paid for!I would recommend to people who mostly use the computer for basic things.Don't expect professional sound, but expect decent quality for the price you paid!

Pretty darn good speakers for a variety of uses. I'm going to use them to replace the audio on my flat screen tv, since it appears that by law the included speakers have to stink. I'd rather the set was a little thicker and had usable speakers. So far I've yet to have anyone show up to my house and whip out a micrometer to see how thick my tv is. I'm also not interested in firing up a 300-500 watt sound system to watch the news or for my son to watch a kids show.Anyhow, I've looked at a few of these in the same ~$30 price range. This one has very long cables, longer than any other I'd seen, which is a plus if you're going to use them on a big tv. The bass box is small and has the large vent on the side, not the bottom, which many other speaker sets had. I have two places for it, a hard surface and a spot on carpet, so bottom bass port is bad. On many of these there is also no cover or screen on the bottom bass port, just a bare speaker. That's going to get ripped pretty quick if you aren't careful handling it.This also has adjustable bass. Not found on many 2.1's this size/price, and a volume control on a little pod. The pod has a headphone jack and an aux 3.5mm input. Really handy!Sound is very good. I'm not an audiophile but I've tinkered with small 3.5mm/bluetooth speakers that went from $12-100 and this sounds by far the best. Good sparkling highs although you're going to need to lower the bass at full volume level. It starts sounding rough until you drop it to below the halfway point. If you want something to plug your phone/tablet into, replace a bad flat screen tv speaker, or put out great sound-on-the-cheap from your PC, this appears to be the winner. The runner-up was the Creative 2.1 that runs around the same price, $30ish. That has shorter cables, no bass adjust, bass port on the bottom, etc.

I'm not exactly an extreme audiophile, but I do love music. I bought two of these for a computer-driven AV setup, but really I probably only needed one set. I was expecting fairly low power from these cheap little things. This set is much better than the $30 price point would imply. I am extremely pleased with the richness and clarity of sound, especially considering where it's coming from. The addition of the woofer is absolutely necessary with flat panel speakers like these, but the one included really overpowers the already mighty little main speakers for my use. I had to turn the woofer way down (with the nob on the back), which means that people who like bass more than I do will also find plenty to love. Further control can be had with the mixer settings on your computer or receiver, but I didn't need to go that far.The desktop volume adjustment dial is very sensitive. I think it would have benefited from using the whole circle instead of just the 90-degrees of motion allowed. There was some distortion in the main speakers at the top range of volume, but I doubt I'll ever need to turn just the one set up that high in my 15'x25' space.I am SO glad I bought them, and at $30/set, I'll just put the extra pair in another room for whenever I move around with my laptop.Note that the amp is in the woofer and runs on AC power, so the flat panel speakers will NOT work plugged into your computer by themselves. This is not a portable sound solution.
