Bought for 12 year old, its definitely not for the average 12 year old, if u have doubts like I did, pick something easier. Its Doable but they have to commit and be organized and not rush. The instructions are alot at first but very well layed out once the initial shock wears out its pretty much matching a with a and then a1-a31 follow on the same page. Its layed out well, the instructions take u step by step u just match the item to the picture and follow the steps. The instructions are printed in full color so its very easy to match properly, u just have to go with the flow and trust the instructions.If u have an excited monster who rips open all the bags and then looks at the instructions, this isn't for your child. This is a calm activity, no rushing is key. Its not to messy, u only open one or two little tiny bags at a time, precise cutting is absolutely necessary, of the cutting is rushed its honestly a waste of money. This activity takes a moderate level of patients and attention to detail, it will help further attention skills and organization but is not a good starter activity. I give it a 10/10 still, I may buy one for me to do

Purchased this for our daughter, she had tried other modeling kits and decided to give this one a shot. It is incredibly time consuming, a number of the pieces are made of paper you need to cut out (not stickers) and glue to other items in order to form the final piece. She enjoyed it the first day or so but quickly realized it might take months to complete. It was about 3 hours to create some pots and spoons. The kit did seem to come with everything (no glue though) and had fairly decent instructions in English. If you have plenty of patience and time on your hands you would probably enjoy this kit.

A lot small pieces, a little difficult to put together. I used the suggested glue, difficult to hold pieces together. It took over an hour to put the kitchen parts together. It's okay.

This thing is very cute so cute. It does take a while to put together and it's very difficult so it's not for kids. But if the kids has an adults working with them then it can be a fun project to do together. Don't forget they do not include tools that you need. You need clear glue you need a screwdriver an exacto knife a ruler a needle and thread a pen and tweezers. I don't understand why they don't tell you that you need all these things before you buy it. I do not have all these things so I'm going to have to go to the store to buy them. The little things that come with it are amazing. All the little details that you get to put together a really really fun. But again it is difficult not an easy project. It is tedious work. But it's still fun. I have included a photo of the little books I made from the kit it's so cute.

I want to give this zero stars but it won't let me. Unless you are a tiny fingered elf with a degree in engineering, electronics and Chinese, I strongly discourage buying this kit. I am a crafty person, love solving puzzles and even assembling IKEA furniture but this takes "DIY" to a level that most people would never be willing to go. NOTHING is done for you, nothing sticks or clicks or attaches to anything. I've tried 3 types of glue and things won't even stick to each other. You essentially have to build everything from scratch down to the tiniest detail and in such small scale it is nearly impossible. The so-called "instructions" are terrible and the translation to English is so bad it doesn't make any sense in most places. I've been at this over an hour and have nothing to show for it and am about to toss the entire thing in the garbage.

It took me about two weeks to complete. I spent between half an hour to two hours everyday on this project. It was such a fun thing to kill time with. A few helpful hints for those who are interested:- many, many small pieces, everything needs your helpful hand to be made- Label EVERYTHING!- the manual is mostly picture based, and even though it’s written in somewhat-broken English, I get what it’s trying to say- instructions are very detailed and easy to follow- it took me a while to figure out the best way to cut/glue/bond everything, once you figure out the proper glue/tape, it saves you a ton of time- This gave me hours and hours of entertainment when I am confined at home with the pandemic!I had so much fun and I think I am going to order another one for Christmas.

I am very surprised at the amount of peices that come in this kit, you truly get your money worth as this keeps you occupied for a while. Not sure why there are negative reviews as the description clearly says that it is DIY and explains that it does not come assembled and that you need PATIENCE. The instructions are also pretty clear to me if you take your time and look at them carefully. If you do not like very detailed projects and do not have a steady hand I wouldn't reccomend this. I have completed some of the kitchen and bathroom and it is so adorable. I really like the challenge.

Its cute and good. But for adults, definitely not for a 5 year old kid. My goodness it takes so much time to assemble things.
