Great pliers, works awesome, best pliers I’ve used at tying grating for scaffolding. Makes my job so much easier.

These are longer than what most rod bashers use to tie rebar, but as an electrician running and repairing pipes in the steel framework, these are perfect! I can reach deep into already finished rebar to cut out, fix, and re-tie damaged conduit runs and they aren't so large as to hinder tying new pipe on open, unfinished steelwork. They have held up to rain, sleet, and snow with no problems and I give them a couple drops of oil here and there to keep them up to the task. The quality of these end cutters is unparalleled, and leads me to expect these to last for a very long time.

As described, and exactly what I wanted. Arrived later than expected but that isn’t the seller's fault. Thanks :)

As “Nippers” go, these are the best high leverage end cutters I’ve ever used. EASILY cuts through 16 and 18 gauge stainless wire.I wish I had them Years earlier!Highly recommended.

These by far are the best nippers I have used. The high leverage cuts through stainless steel wires like nothing.

I like it for the ease of snipping off practically ant size of nails. Not fatiguing to use.

Knipex makes some of the best hand tools on the planet. I own 8-10 pair their pliers and cutters and they are all excellent quality. They are not cheap but when I'm working and the tool goes on vacation, I'm not happy.Pro:-Long handles on the 12 inch, lots of leverage-German forged quality-Fit easily in my tool bag and tool box-Can cut 12 penny nails and work as a nail pulled as well-Great tools reward the user with great results and when folks see that your tools are high quality, it's an indication that you do quality work.Con:-Pricey - but when I have that oddball nail hidden on some trim that I need to dispatch quickly and it's slowing me down, these cutters will work.Hope that helps!

I bought these to cut 12 gauge stainless steel quilting pins at work. They cut through like butter. I originally had an 8" pair of the blue handled brand that cut them well, but they wore out. I then tried to replace them with the 10" Yellow handle ones, thinking they'd certainly be better, being a major name brand and all, but I was wrong. I couldn't cut them with all my might, so I returned them for a pair of these, and they are the best I've owned so far. Hope that helps. I originally posted a more in-depth review, but I think my inclusion of the other name brands got my review denied, so we will try it this way and see what happens.

The nipper worked as advertised. I needed to cut several dozen nails to redo some facia. I tried a comparable priced nipper from Harbor Freight. It was useless. Very happy with this tool.

Other brands (Channellock, Klein, Irwin) nips just don't hold up as long. The knipex is made of a higher steel. I work 80-hrs/wk doing rebar and these last about 4 months (compared to Hard to find Knipex HIGH LEVERAGE nippers in North American Stores though. A few select ones carry them, but usually not the High Leveage ones, and if so, often most sizes/models are not available. Ordered on Amazon, got the size & grips I wanted - as saved $20.
