Long and short, it's a fuse, it worked, it doesn't change sound quality.I bought these as replacements for my fuse that had blown.I couldn't find any slo blo fuses, and as some forums stated it's ok to go with quick blow fuses on a unit that requires slo blo, but not the other way around.I eventually blew through all of these, not at the fault of the fuse, but a bad rectifier tube, which has been replaced by a Tube Amp Doctor 5AR4.I went with the recommended slo blo on my next purchase to be safe. Right now, my amp likes the slo blo more.

Unfortunately, these didn't fit the subwoofer I have. However, the size is correct, but they are smaller and shorter than the original one. I gave five stars because I was sent the size that appeared on the subwoofer.

I used to replace blown fuse on a 1967 marantz model 15 amp. It was slightly smaller than original but did the trick.
