I used this for years without incident but just went to clean off some egg and it completely melted! I would recommend cast iron for durability...

Might return. They do not heat up well therfore, it takes quite a while to cook a grilled cheese.

We use these irons during camping to create several meals. They work flawlessly each and every time. Be careful, the metal will melt when placed into a warm campfire as they are aluminum.

Makes the best grilled cheese ever. Love this cooker. Easy to use and easy to clean. I had purchased a different “cast iron” brand that was super bumpy and the food all stuck to it. Upon sanding down the bumps the“cast iron” came off revealing shiny silver surface underneath. Those went in the trash. These Coleman ones I will keep forever

Good quality. Makes a good edge seal and gives great results when using it. I would like to see the handles be 4 to 8 inches longer, though.
