I used this nozzle to blast carbon buildup from 2012 3.5 EcoBoost engine. I appreciate the pipe being threaded. I didn't have to shorten the pipe for the close quarters of my F150 engine bay. I simply swapped the pipe for a shorter one. The nipples I used were threaded 1/8 NPT.I had to modify a flat washer to fit between the nozzle and my blast gun to allow more space for walnut shell medium to enter compressed air steam in gun. The physical dimensions of the nozzle nearly match the ceramic nozzle normally held in gun, so the need for this spacer is not attributed to the nozzle purchased.

Unfortunately this didn't fit *either* of the two slightly different styles sandblaster guns that I've been testing. So I'm just going to have to give it the benefit of the doubt. It seems decently constructed for a semi-consumable part of the tool and the extra reach it does give would have been nice.
