This is a attractive product. I thought it was a bit expensive when I ordered it, but it is worth every penny. Nice and heavy and well made.

Product arrived with a broken part (plastic spacer) but I contacted C-Hopetree directly and they mailed new replacement parts immediatlely. Very sturdy and should keep the table and umbrella (7 x 10) in place. It was easy to assemble, however, with the weight of it, I had a neighbour assemble it as I am a senior.

I just put up my new 9 foot market umbrella with the recommended free standing base. There is barely a breeze out and as I was sitting under it, it fell over and the umbrella hit me in the shoulder and the back of the head. As of right now, my shoulder hurts and I have a headache. I purchased this base because it said free standing and it lasted about 10 minutes before it fell and hit me. Sore and very unhappy. Fortunately my husband was there to witness and help get the umbrella off me.

It's stylish and has some weight, 31lbs obvously lol - but it's more about the diametre and the mechanism holding the umbrella.The umbrella doesn't sit securely in the holder and tends to spin, even after torquing it to where it feels like it wont move so it obviously loosens.A wider base would be more stable.I wanted it as a stand-alone holder for additional shade on my deck but that was definately a no go (I took photos of my umbrella laying on the ground but they wont load.)Setting it up in the table instead didn't work either because, even in a light breeze the umbrella would spin around if it was tilted or rattle because it was loose.I still gave 3 stars because i think in a more sheltered space with a lighter umbrella it would work just fine.

LOVE this! Beautiful and larger than expected!!! Very sturdy and I expect it to last a long time. I can’t speak to it’s long term durability, but it seems substantial. Arrived quickly and well protected.

This stand is heavy which is what you want on a windy day. It’s designed well. It’s attractive. I have an 11 foot umbrella and so far so good, it’s performing like a solid anchor under our patio dining table. Glad I bought it.
