I had to extend the shaft with a custom bushing I made but restored the oscillation of my fan. Very happy about that.

I ordered this as a replacement for the oscillator motor in a Bionaire heater, as all of the numbers / specs. matched the original that has a stripped gear set. After waiting almost 2 months for it to arrive (I assume due to the pandemic), I received it and wired it into the heater. Before even connecting the mechanical linkage, I turned on the heater and activated the oscillation to test. The motor began turning, but emitted a grinding noise. Within 5 seconds, a bright flash of light came from the heater's circuit board and the motor stopped. The motor's housing was already quite warm for as briefly as it ran, indicating it was over loaded and drawing far too much current, which is what fried the drive circuit on the PCB. My heater is now permanently non-oscillating.....

Casing fit perfectly. Had to modify the output shaft from round to a "D" style, but I knew that going in. Met all of my expectations.

Purchased two 2.5-3 rpm motors, to have a spare, to replace a 10-12 rpm motor that I purchased two years ago that was working fine but wanted to try a slower spin rate for our large hanging ornament. Both of these motors burned out within three seconds of plugging them in. No ornament was attached, just a test run. I wired the faster motor back in and it continues to run just fine. I didn’t add a photo because they look fine and that doesn’t convey the acrid smell of burned plastic/metal. A waste of time and money.
