Easy to install and work well with my Liftmaster, just follow the instructions. It takes less than 10 mins from start to finish.Only thing on the app, it would be great, if they could update the software to be able to close the garage door automatically after its open for setting time like 2 mins 5 minutes or 10 minutes.

I recently purchased the Chamberlain smart hub, hoping for an easy and convenient way to control my garage door through the app. The initial installation seemed straightforward, following the directions on the app. However, I encountered issues with a weak Wi-Fi signal, prompting me to invest in a signal booster to address the connectivity problem.While the booster helped with the signal strength, I still faced challenges connecting to the hub. Frustrated, I reached out to Chamberlain tech support for assistance. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. The representative's background noise, possibly from a TV and household chores, made communication difficult, and despite mentioning the issue, the situation did not improve. The support provided was not helpful, as I found myself repeating steps and answering the same questions without resolution.After the unproductive call, I took matters into my own hands and scoured online resources for a solution. It turned out that a crucial step, pressing "Yes," was necessary, even though my garage door opener differed from the illustrated image. This finally allowed me to establish a connection. However, this success was short-lived, as the app displayed an "Offline" status after only two days.Desperate for a solution, I invested hours in troubleshooting, exploring Chamberlain's website and various online forums, but to no avail. Despite the promising concept, the product failed to deliver on its described performance. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this item to others based on my frustrating experience.Moreover, my disappointment is exacerbated by the fact that I am unable to return the product due to discarding the original packaging. Considering the substantial issues faced and the inability to resolve them, I am hopeful for a refund despite the return constraints.

Been mostly happy with this purchase of a MyQ smart garage door opener.It integrated easily with my Tesla and works great 98% of the time.Once in a while there is a network connectivity error between my car, the cell network, my home wifi, and or the smart opener and I have manually open/close the garage door with the standard opener. But that is very rare.The APP has an auto close feature, so if you forget to close the garage door and the setting is turned on, it will automatically close the garage door at the set time. This is a great feature.And now Amazon supports this MyQ model for Amazon Key - in garage delivery. Just signed up and looking forward to receiving my first in-garage delivery.

It seems that the MyQ app has stopped integrating with their own product, the Smart Garage Hub. It wasn’t even showing up in Device Management, so I couldn’t add the device to the app. I wasted so much time troubleshooting this. One weekend, it didn’t even allow me to register my new account, as their servers appeared to be down.Now that they’ve discontinued third-party integrations like HomeAssistant, I’m not sure if anyone would still be interested in buying this, like I was. Unfortunately, their system is so buggy and convoluted.

CRUCIAL DIFFERENCE! After owning and using a G0301 (black version) for about 3 yrs, it became increasingly unreliable. Reconnecting the hub to the Internet became difficult, then impossible. The last few weeks of useless Google searches and troubleshooting got me nowhere, but it became pretty clear that the issues had something to do with WPA encryption settings. I spent several hours with MyQ Tech in three different sessions. Finally, after about 90 minutes of troubleshooting with the last person, she told me that my black G0301 Hub was hopelessly outdated.* Long story short, I replaced it with a newer white G0401 hub from Amazon (about $27). Here’s the thing: the new hub allows for WPA 3 security on your home wifi network. It also has updated Bluetooth. After months of pulling out my hair, the G0401 white hub connected instantly with ZERO trouble. Both garage doors work fine now, and the troublesome MyQ app on my Apple Watch (which seldom worked) is now working fine. Remember: you MUST have a 2.4 GHz wifi network and a good signal in your garage.* Sadly, there is an old PCWorld article out there that still comes up in a search which will MISINFORM you that the difference between the two versions of controllers (hubs) is basically just cosmetic. WRONG! I wish they would correct this, because it cost me countless hours of time and frustration!Time will tell about future reliability, but setup and connectivity issues with the old version are rampant all over the ‘net. It’s not because Chamberlain/ Liftmaster has bad equipment. It’s because encryption tech in wifi has evolved and I just needed a new hub. I only wish I had known this a year ago!
