Solid build. Simple setup with no instructions in box, however there is a video in the description of the unit on the Amazon listing. I would go with wing bolts as someone else mentioned for space saving. No bad smells and no sharp edges. Who could ask for anything more. Indeed on using iPhone 11plus fits well in provided clamp holder

Works perfect, good shade and easily adjustable. For the price better value than the alternatives. Putting together is relatively simple but it did take a couple tries to get it just right. 5 minute assembly.

Not having included instructions may have happened to someone else, I don't know, I haven't checked the other reviews here:This came with no instruction manual, so not sure if I'm missing parts or I put it together wrong. Regardless, I was able to basically piece it all together and figure it out by looking at the pictures of the device on Amazon.Seems quality, I have yet to use it. Bought it to record my tennis matches and practicing (serving) so I can make changes to my game as needed. Haven't been able to put it on the fence yet, but it seems to hold my phone fine just putting it in there and clamping it down. If I feel it needs fewer stars, or 5 because it's the best thing since sliced bread, I'll update this review.What I would say are basic instructions if anyone else is in the same boat:- Feed the bungee cords through the eyes so you have one on either side, the ends of which come out the "back" of the frame (I just clasped them together once they were through and don't worry if the bottom comes out since you can put it back into place once you're ready to use it).Put the sun shade on the base and use the 4 screws to attach it completely. Put the ball bearing thingy on the bottom of the base and use the wingnut/washer combo to secure it (You can loosen and tighten as you need later). The main telescoping holder screws onto the ball bearing thing in two different orientations as you want to mount your phone to it and I put mine so it will hold my phone horizontally). There's another two-piece attachment you can use in place of the telescoping one (it seems to hold a go pro or something, I don't know that I'll ever use it but it seems simple enough).
