I bought this for my Audi e-Tron which is pretty much the same size as the Q5I figured I could just trim this down to fit my car. But this material is like kevlar. Top marks for quality. This material reminds me of the silicone pads used for grilling pads but textured for grippiness. The fit for the Q5/eTron is actually just fine, no trimming needed. However, the side netting might be an issue for some. I have to leave the metal rods unclipped so the liner can slide underneath. I still left the plastic clips in place, they're just not connected to the netting rods. This is perfectly fine for me because the grooves in the liner plus the tight fit will keep the rods from swaying just as the plastic clips used to do.At first I thought this thing might be too big, but the edges just need to be folded upward near the rear of the trunk. Looks like this is just by design and allows the liner to hold water.

I usually like the OEM quality, look, and feel of these types of mats.It did come rolled up so it needed to sit out or in the car where it would heat up and then it’ll lay down flat and fit perfect.Durability is as expected for an all weather / spill-proof cargo mat. And it’s a great value! If put against the OEM I’d say this one feels more rubbery and plastic where as the OEM version is a softer, more malleable rubber. So depending on price difference it would sway me one way or the other. Or in my case, it’s a leased car so I won’t own the car in the long run (or need this cargo mat for many years).
