I was going to return it but waited too long and the return date passed. Anyway, the safety on this is backwards; when I press it, it locks the trigger, when not pressed, it lights with no restriction. Also there's no rubber gasket on the refill part, so it leaks like mad when I refill it.

This torch worked well the first time using, but now will only work as a blowtorch, won’t stay lit on lower flame

Purchase this torch if you plan to burn all ur hair and eyebrows off! Flames out over 10 inches nonconsistantly! [UPDATE] I purged the air out and after it was completely empty refilled it with Newport butane & now it works great! IMPORTANT: USE HIGH QUALITY BUTANE

A lot of torches are small by design and that’s fine, but I have large hands and this is easy to hold and I don’t have to fill it very often. The trigger latch sometimes slips, but I can live with that. At this price it’s an excellent value. I should also say that the wide base makes it very stable. when you set it down. I have other torches that will fall over because they are thin cylinders and nothing more.

Not the best quality, but you can’t get any better than this for $10. I use it almost daily and it’s still going strong. I feel like it does go through butane a bit faster than other torches I’ve owned. The lock feature broke the first week I had it, from me dropping it. Flame is strong. Easy to fill. No leaks as far as I can tell.
