As soon as I received this sander, got to work on finishing some items I 3D printed. This sander worked amazingly! No issues with the locking mechanism, and I could put excessive pressure without stalling the motor. Keep in mind, I only did this to test out the durability. It should not be used with more than light pressure so the sanding head can glide across your part.I used it for over an hour, and the battery still didn't die! I used it at various sanding speeds.This sander was perfect!...until it would no longer turn on. This was very disappointing because the work it had already done saved me several hours of manual work. I'm returning the item now, but I'm reordering it to give it another chance. Maybe it just had a bad switch.

The plastic arms do not provide a solid support for sanding. The t anchor on the arm does not hold it firmly. Not happy.

This could have been great but it's useless with the nozzle lock design flaw. I call it a design flaw because others have complained about the same thing.When you lock the tip in, it doesn't lock after the first use. It appears that once you use it for the first time something gets worn out right away and it won't lock anymore.If there was a work around other than taping it, I'd do it but I'm not interested in taking it apart to investigate. The manufacturer knows about it and should stop selling them until they come up with a design fix/solution. Anyway, it worked great for 3-4 minutes before the tip came loose and wouldn't sand properly.No way to recommend as is. Going to try to return it.

I’m impressed with this cordless pen sander! The variable speed control is smooth and allows me to work on different materials. The grinding heads and sandpaper are super handy, and the LED light is a great touch for working in tight or dimly lit spaces.
