I purchased the 2500W mortar mixer based on several positive reviews I had read. I had been using my Ridgid hammer drill to mix mortar. The torque needed caused my drill to overheat and smoke. The 2500W handled the mixing easily. I really like the adjustable speed option and the trigger lock. I've done several bags of mortar and find the tool to be most effective.

I've never worked with cement before and needed to have old a walkway and bricks for the garden ends using quikrete. This device works super well. It's a little intense the first time you use it as it needs a strong back to operate. But I'm not disappointed.

Used this mixer twice in 2 years to mix up 30 bags of concrete and it just started smoking and stopped working.Warranty is a year but like most things you buy as a homeowner you might only use it once or twice during the warranty period.

I purchased this mixer for a DIY bathroom project and I am very pleased with the project and my investment. I was tempted to try mixing mortar by hand, but this device saved me tons of effort and time. So glad I purchased this unit as I've used it nearly a dozen times for this project.Packaging was compact and assembly of the two-piece mixer was a snap.

I got this for 5 gallon of gypsum. My regular drill could turn the paddles but got very hot quick. So, instead of burning that I I bought this. it is speed adjustable from slow to fast

UPDATED:The mixer did stop working correctly after only a few months, but I reached out to the company and they were very quick to respond and replace the broken one. Can't ask for more than that! I'll update again if there is any problem with the new one.The tool worked fine the first couple of uses to mix drywall mud, but today the speed control has stopped working. It turns on, but it just goes at a fast speed and won’t adjust, and you can feel the handle above the dial getting hot!
