I read several reviews and a lot of people were iffy on the fitment of this valve. I dont know whether I got lucky or quality improved, but it was a perfect fit for me. My mom and I restored a 1989 Wrangler 19 years ago. I recently lost my mom a few months ago and my only goal while being home was to get this Jeep running so I could relive all of our memories. I was stuck redoing all of the brake lines because they were so rusted even a heat torch wouldnt make them budge. So I let go of that idea and started finding new parts. Luckily I was able to get my hands on this proportioning valve and it matched perfectly. I about cried to get it and it be the final piece I needed to get this Jeep up and going again.

Mopar discontinued the valve, so I was happy that there was a replacement at a great price.

Fit my application on an '87 Jeep Wrangler. However, shortly after install, brake fluid leaking from inside Brake Failure detection switch and dripped on my new painted steering shaft and caused paint to bubble off. Quality is lo in that regard. otherwise, it appears to function as it should.

Waited two weeks to install and didn't drive for another week. I thought everything was good and then noticed a drip. Looked around for a leak then noticed brake fluid coming from the center of the preinstalled sensor where the electrical connects. Not sure why it would leak here? Tried to get a replacement for the defective part but have to contact seller as Amazon is telling me that there is a restocking fee (why would they restock a defective part, maybe my part was 'restocked' without testing it?). Currently waiting for a reply, will update if they get back to me.
