Love that these came in size 9! My boy is small, but 7-8 is too small and 10-12 is too large. Finding a size 9 is so rare. I wish all clothing included all ages!!

I bought these for the bright colours for my son’s safety as he was going to a camp beside a lake and would be doing water sports on the lake. I wanted swim shorts that are bright to spot in lake water but have used in pools after. Colour is still bright. I recommend these! Will purchase again for next season:size.

I'm overall disappointed but kindof angry. As a single parent with no male body parts, I was not made aware that some mesh linings in swim shorts for boys could cause irritation. I bought three pairs of these for my son. He wore them for an hour at the pool while at camp and came home with his boyparts irritated. Called the doc, ended up finding out that the mesh is the cause. (keep in mind he has other swim trunks from Walmart that didn't cause this issue). The inner mesh in these shorts is more like fish net (not the close woven kind) and very irritating to the boy bits.

My son is a tall, thin 5-year-old (wears size 6-7 in shirts and 6 in pants, just for the length) and we were looking for longer swim trunks for him and these were perfect (and a great price!) We ordered him a size 5-6. He is about 43 lbs. and about 47" tall and these trunks were great in waist size (since he's so skinny) and a perfect length (they hit just below his knees). They fit great without even having to adjust the tie waist, which has a great length of adjustable cord.
