These are fine. I decided to redo my daughters previous homemade Lego table that consisted of the actual green Lego brand baseplates and a small ikea table for these on top of a larger ikea table. They work the same way, they just feel slightly cheaper If you compare them to the Lego brand. I had a harder time lining these plates up and they’re much more glossy in appearance. I do love the grey color though. I also ordered some in white.

My kid and I started a little city with LEGO Expert Modular buildings and road baseplates. Placed next to each other, this leaves a TON of wasted space with "sidewalks" that are nearly as wide as an actual street lane. Solutions? I could rebuild each modular partially over both original baseplate and a road side, but that's a massive undertaking. It's also not at all convenient for rearranging buildings. Other solutions take planning and are quite expensive...(Note: "baseplate" refers to the thin plates without stud receptacles on the bottom. This applies to both brands.)Anyway, I used these BOROLA Classic baseplates lined up with the street baseplates, and placed our buildings over both, in a staggered fashion (still affixed to their original baseplates). Two stacked BASEplates = height of one LEGO STANDARD plate. Therefore, you can secure the "raised" buildings to the generic baseplate at the rear and to the road baseplate at the front, using a few strategically placed tiny regular plates and cover those with tiles. This creates a level, smooth surface and adds a nice curb as well.Eliminating the sidewalk "dead zone" has moved all the buildings closer to the edge of the table, giving my kid easier access. Plus, there's now more room behind the buildings for additional structures/play space. Just ordered six more.Yes, there's no street-side parking, but the lost revenue is offset by using BOROLA baseplates. (And our minifigs can't parallel park for the life of them.) Doing this with LEGO plates would have cost over 4 times as much.

Perfect! I put on a small wood end table and the adhesive is strong and the baseplates do not move. Even better than expected. Would definitely order again.

My son wanted to make a snowy village. These are the perfect base. They fit with name brand legos and are holding up well.

Great value! Was looking for white color base plates for this DIY LEGO table I made. I needed to be able to cut the sheets to fit the sliding tops I made, so I didn’t want to spend too much in case I made a mistake. Took a chance on these instead of LEGO brand and they worked great! I was able to score them with a box cutter and simply snap them; they broke clean on the lines! I Then adhered them to the wood pieces with super glue. The plates work with the classic and small sized LEGO brand bricks perfectly. Happy mom and happy kiddos!
