Very happy with this chalk set. This chalk is softer and works much better than chalk pencils for marking fabric.

Just as described. I have an issue with the sharpener though. As anyone knows the chalk is brittle and being this thin is very brittle. So when you need to sharpen the chalk in the sharpener you have to extend it out of the holder at least an inch and a half for it to make contact with the blade in the sharpener. Then turn it to sharpen. What do you think happens? The chalk breaks. The sharpener needs to be fixed so you only have to insert the chalk a little bit to make contact. We have resorted to using sand paper to refine the point. This why only 3 stars.

Not the best choice for marking fabric. You have to press too hard which catches some fabrics. I would not buy again based on versatility, need a chalk that glides over fabric.

I heard of this product via a session on quilting using stencils and decided to buy one for my sewing kit. It's great, you can easily draw your design on your quilt without it draggging on the fabric and it just washes or brushes away afterwards. It came with a good supply of chalks 'sticks' and a sharpener.

Oh this tool is so handy! I use it to draft up chalk signage before going over with a marker and it writes so well and erases without scratches or ghosting. It's a true chalk consistency rather than a colored pencil which can be hard to erase. This works well on a lot of surfaces.I love how many extra refill pieces it comes with, plus the sharpener! It's great to be able to retract it and not worry about breakage. I've been previously using a mechanical pencil with smaller refill lead but that's so much more expensive and harder to come by. This is a great alternative!Would be ideal for any work with chalkboards at all! (restaurant/coffee menus, classrooms, event spaces, weddings, home decor...etc)

Cumple lo que promete vienen 16 minas de recambio más la que trae puesta y el sacapuntas del diámetro adecuado. Todas las minas son blancas.
