I know these are dummy cameras but they are extremely fake. So much so that I don't think they would fool anyone. The little blinking light is very gimmicky and in my opinion gives it away even more. These were made out of extremely cheap injection molded parts something you would expect to find for much less.

These are inexpensive and they probably have some deterrence. They are light weight plastic and easy to install. The warning stickers that they provide in the box have already faded out completely in just few months. My neighbors had and incident recently and asked me if my cameras recorded the incident. That made me decide to buy real cameras. I am sure there are applications where these would be useful but I have decided real cameras are better in most circumstances.
