INSTALLATION STEPS
Before installation, please remove the original hooded catches first, and then replace our hood catches according to the instruction.
Step 1 2 3: Fix the upper and lower parts of the hood latches with screws.
Step 4 5 6: Fix the lower end of the connecting rod with screws and secure the upper end of the connecting rod with a bolt.
Step 7: Rotate the connecting rod to adjust the length.
Step 8: Lock it with the key.
Step 9: Finished installation.

These are good quality lockable hood latches for older Jeep Wranglers TJ's etc.. Mine is a 1999 TJ SE The latches were direct replacement. The install is easy enough providing your bolts are not rusted. Mine were and I had to cut them off in the end. Once the bolts were gone the rest of the installation was very easy. I would recommend this product

I was impressed with the initial quality. They were easy to install and adjust. They eliminated the hood flutter driving around on all roads. I purchased these after being disappointed with replacement aftermarket “OEM”hood latches that made the hood flutter worse than the worn out latches. I would recommend these and would purchase again. Time will tell in regard to how long they last.

le da un aspecto bonito al vehículo, pero este tiene que entrar a la fuerza, queda separado y es un problema hacer que cierre.Además con los días las roscas se van aflojando y terminan por perderse.

I liked the looks of these but I have aftermarket fenders and the bolt provided isn't long enough to make it through. I ended up having to go the hardware store to find a longer one. Still waiting to reinstall my hood so I can't speak to how it holds but it looks pretty good.

They work just as described, the key is a little bit tricky to unlock them but works as designs. Check it out on the highway @70 mph and no hood flutter work great and they look good.
