Though the bottom part was hard plastic. Its more of a firm rubber so its bendy and as such, slides up and down the bike frame alot and can flip too.Maybe a bit of grip tape will help.Regardless, easy as hell to install, holds every water bottle I've found. Good for any bike that didn't have the holes for a screw on one drilled into it.

The Clinch Alloy Cage is strong enough to keep my 27 oz. Kleen Kanteen water bottle secure over rough roads. It also fits a regular Gatorade bottle. In fact, it works so well, I bought a second one to mount on the other frame tube.

The bottle holder does not stay in one spot, hard to get tight so it didn’t move around, causing peddle obstruction.

Being that the straps to hold it onto the bike are Velcro, the unit was very easy to install. The unit itself is plastic. Seems fine so far.

I didn't expect much given the price, but this is still surprisingly useless, as more often than not this leaks on me whenever I try to drink from it. The leak is coming from the screw-in portion of the cap, which is unfortunately not hermetic. A few drops can easily find their way on your shirt or on your pants. This is unacceptable.

To be fair, I was not using screw mounts. If you do not screw this into your bike frame, you may notice it is difficult to secure. It slides around if only using cable ties, so you may need to add extra ties to prevent this.Otherwise, a very solid bottle holder!

Anything that's got Bell's name on it has a good accessory to put on a bike and this is no exception.I also got a bell and a horn for the two other bikes here from Bell and they're awesome

The Lectric XP doesn’t have an adequate place to mount a cage. This solves the problem. Not sure how it handles heavier water bottles, but it works fine with standard cycling bottles.

I haven't lost a purpose built bottle yet. It's also about as light as you can get for a bottle mount. The CF ones at my LBS weigh more and cost a ton so I can't argue with this. I have two on my bike and I'm happy with it.
