Works great for the purpose. You can put it upwards, and it will not heat up surface.It does, though, get hot if used for longer time.There are different attachments and heat levels.

I bought this to fix the bubbles on the ppf wrap that I installed on my headlights. I used the lowest setting but instead of smoothing the bubbles, it melted and created holes. I ended up, removing the wrap😒. Well, at least, I know it heats up!

Works pretty good for the price it could be better but for the price it is really good used it for about 6 hours straight and had no problems

I live in a mobile home and during the winter we have periods of very cold weather. Over the years I usually have one or two freeze ups. I used to work for a couple of hours each freeze up using a hair dryer to thaw the water pipes. This heat gun put out enough heat to thaw the water pipes in 40 minutes. This was in -32 degrees Celsius with a wind chill of -45 degrees Celsius. No...I wasn't outside. I did the work inside the unit.

This heat gun is easy to use with two heat settings which allows for flexibility depending on the project. It has multiple attachments which I’ve not needed but makes the unit more versatile. It has a large handle and a flat end which helps with stability, allowing the unit to stand safely.

This has a lot more heat than my old one, and the attachments are pretty handy. I've already used the reducer head and the paint scraper head. They're kind of flimsy, but that's not really the reason I bought the gun anyway, so they're a nice perk.
