Compared to sanders 4X the cost (i.e. Dynabrade) this sander performs extreme;y well. Orbit may be slightly larger but RPM seems higher also ( 12000 vs. 10000) which makes finish very good.Would definitely buy again even if this one only last a year!

Follow these steps and this sander will work just fine - haven't had to mess with mine in weeks. First thing you should do when you get it is drop a couple drips of oil into the air nub then grab the wrench remove the pad and oil up the inside of the bearing as far in as you can then put the pad back on and fire it up a bunch. Everyones complaining that the sander "doesn't work" hasn't done either of these steps... it's a $50 sander guys..... and if it fails give it a couple smacks on the pad or a good shake take the pad off and spin that bearing a bit, that's all it should take... don't have your fingers inside if it's attached to the air. Really decent sander for the price and it spins way faster than our $400 mirka sander 3x the material removal. As long as you keep the wrench/oil close this sander will serve you well.

Great for someone who only needs for certain jobs. If you are wanting a full time orbital palm buy a good brand. This worked great for sanding my truck bumpers. The discs are not good quality though. By some different ones.
