Like the look and the choice of colours (why stick with boring black or white?). The idea of bending as a two piece unit was intriguing, but doesn't really add advantage and makes me wonder if they are less stable to walk on. Buyer beware: maximum length of blade that these covers will fit is 288mm or 10.75". My figure skates are size 9.5 boot (so not particularly large for an adult) with 11.25" blade had to stretch the springs to make them fit and they have a half inch gap in the middle. The instructions tell you how to cut these down to your specific size, but leave you to figure out how to attach the springs (one loop goes onto the screw just under the head and the other loop, on opposite site of guard, is grabbed by the threads of the screw - if you are able to properly seat the loop deep inside the groove which is not necessarily the case). In my case, just needed protection while transporting, not walking on, so will do for now.

this protectors keep falling out while walking in skates, not great at all.I dont think I can return them since they were cut to fit the skates.

I bought the Sheer Peach color. I think the most of complaints here are the length. I am not sure other color has the same length with mine, but mine is almost fit 11-1/3 blade. No need to cut. In fact, the sleeve is still little short. It still has about 1/4" gap between. There is no instruction how to put a bolt together with the springs, but .. it is obvious, but little hard because it needs to stretch the spring little bit to fit to the hole with the bolt. So, it needs some skillful hands. I think when the blade is longer than 11 inch, the spring needs to get stretched longer to put the sleeve into the blade. So... as longer the blade length, the spring needs to get scratched longer and becomes harder because the spring tension increases. My recommendation to the manufacturers is to have the spring longer and the sleeve part longer about 1 inch.

It's sometimes hard to put on. My 5 year old cannot do it by herself yet.
