We love it right down to the flag and reflectors. It turns on a dime! TY

I wanted to be able to transport groceries for 4 all year round (so it must be weatherproof). A seat post attachment vs. axle mount was preferred. It must be easy to maintain (cleaning, tire pressure checks, etc.) and store away. The trailer had to track well behind the bike (be stable at reasonable speeds) and not be too wide. I also wanted the flexibility to occasionally transport larger/bulkier loads that just basic groceries. The new design of this trailer (first available in Jan '24) now has a right angle attachment to the seat post so it appears to sit a bit closer behind the bike's rear wheel. Overall it tracks well behind the bike and is easy to manipulate in tight areas such as around other bikes in a bike rack. The new design also incorporates a folding rear so larger/longer items can be carried. This new feature ultimately became very important to me as I needed to use a different box on the trailer. It quickly became clear that while the neat 65l folding grey box worked well, it a) wasn't weatherpoof at all. The recessed interlocking finger design for the top of the box actually concentrated any moisture falling on it and so didn't keep the contents dry even in a light rain b) the material the box is made from likely wouldn't stand up to being bumped or dropped in below freezing temperatures and c) the folding design rattles a bit over bumps. It turns out the easy fix was to swap out the smaller folding grey box for a larger 100l storage bin with a solid top. The new fold down rear of the trailer allowed this taller and slightly larger/longer box to fit very nicely on/in the trailer. The storage box I used was a 102l (26.5 gal) model from Costco Canada ($12) but similar items are available from many hardware and big box stores.Behind the bike the trailer with it's now slightly larger box tracks very well, it almost disappears (smooth, quiet, and very easy to pull). One trick was to reduce the tire pressure so the trailer rode a bit softer. Care must be taken to not reduce the pressures too much if you intend to transport heavier loads approaching the 40kg/88lb trailer limits. The other suggestion (that applies to virtually all bike trailers) is to make only gentle turns. Riding aggressively runs the risk of the trailer overturning, especially when the trailer is unloaded or loaded incorrectly (weight up high). The seat post attachment hardware is also different on this new model trailer. It now uses a pull pin with a retaining clip. The new design actually shares the same pull pin used to assemble the trailer (providing a quick release for the pull bar where it attaches to the trailer) so in the unlikely event of loosing the pin (tough to do with a two stage safety system - retaining clip and a tether for the pin itself) you could use one of the other pins. Overall the new design looks a bit more basic (the older push button appears simpler and more integrated) but it works well, and with a small ball joint it reliably couples the trailer to the bike's seat post. The new design also appears to handle a wider range of seat post widths and won't damage them.Overall this new bike cargo trailer appears to be a good value and has over a couple of months so far worked out very well for me. It gets 4 and half stars out of 5, missing the half only because of the grey box used.

I'm very disappointed with this.Wrong reflector package: The reflectors provided don't fit on the frame at all, too big for the small frame pipes, too small for the large frame pipes.Wrong lock pin: The hole in the pipe for the lock pin to connect the trailer to the hitch is too small, you will either have to drill the hole to make it larger or buy a lock pin of smaller radius.Bad inner tube: One of the tires developed a bulge in the inner tube on the first ride out. Basically had to deflate and almost run flat to make it home. Will need to buy new tubes right off the bat...Tailgate system is a miss: The pivoting arms that secure the tailgate in the upward position use a thumbscrew system, these are positioned right next to the tires and almost to the point of rubbing against the tires and leaving no room for a firm grip to loosen or tighten them to secure the arms. One of the thumbscrews does not want to screw all the way in, so the right pivoting secure arm is not secure...Plastic used in crucial structural location. The connecting rod from the trailer to the hitch is loosely held to the frame by 2 plastic brackets, so loosely that eventually they will break from torque and tensile forces from simply pulling the cart...Off center whitewall line: Not sure who thought it would be a good idea to go back to the 60's and draw a whitewall line on the tires, but they could have at least made sure it was put one straight. The line is off center and would seriously trigger someone's OCD watching me ride by...This particular trailer completely missed the mark from A to Z, from design, to build quality...It's a shame, their other trailer style I bought last year was much better quality.I rarely score things as a 1 star, but this clearly deserves it.

Cheap quality. Overpriced

Overall it's an okay design and a decent value for the money. However the trailer features the ability to extent the back, like a tail gate, to allow for cargo to be oversized. The first time I used this feature, I tried to use the thumb nuts to tighten the gate on, and wouldn't you know, some of the threads were so bad that when I tried harder to screw it tight so it wouldn't fall off, the welded bolt just came off. Not a hard thing to fix, just drill through and get a longer bolt to go all the way through and find a matching thread. But still, too bad, there is definitely room for improvement in the quality control.

My husband easily modified the hitch for my bike so it can be locked if I go into the store. I guess that is one feature missing on this product. It trails very nicely behind my bike and is big enough to carry a fair amount of groceries. The grey plastic box does bounce around a lot, but was easily solved by using bungee cords to strap the box to the frame (also something that should be included).Overall very happy with the trailer.

It's nice to find a trailer that connects to the seat post. No more damaged skewers!Seems that the wheel hub has a slight manufacturer's defect, which causes a wabble in one of the wheels. My local bike shop wants $80 per hour, minumum of 4 hours to correct this problem. Any job that involves the spokes is time consuming. It wabbles while I'm going down the road. The straps are cheap and were the first things to break. The trailer's main mounting brackets are plastic and are concerning.Customer service is difficult to deal with - I have been waiting almost an entire month for replacement parts to be shipped out.
